Edgar Saenz, Esq.
Edgar Saenz devotes his practice to estate planning.  He creates revocable and irrevocable trusts.  He deals with administration, whether judicially supervised or private. He handles guardianships and conservatorships.  His trial background serves him well for the occasional contested will or trust.

Edgar was educated at Stanford Law School (JD ’86) and St. Mary’s University (BA ’83, magna cum laude).

He is a member of numerous bar associations and Trusts and Estates sections.

Edgar has volunteered at legal clinics serving the poor and with Meals on Wheels.  He has served as judge pro tem with the Superior Court.

Edgar is a California Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law.  (California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California) He is rated “preeminent” by his peers. (Martindale Hubbell AV Rating)  He is admitted to practice before both state and federal courts.  And he loves his work.

Kathleen Saenz, J.D.
Kathleen Saenz has degrees from USC (BA ’84) and UCLA (JD ’87). Previously, Kathleen practiced in the areas of aviation, environmental law, and death penalty appeals and worked for a major investment firm.  She is an attorney who is currently on inactive status. She provides invaluable administrative services to the firm.

Mladen Singer
Legal Assistant Mladen is a University of Zagreb, Croatia (LLB), and University of New Hampshire (MIP) graduate. His diverse experience includes in-house counsel for a Paris sports television channel.  He also interprets and translates in legal matters.

Joanna W.
A Westchester native, Joanna joined our firm in 2021 with more than 20 years of experience as a legal assistant in estate law.

Jaelene L.
Administrative Assistant Jaelene brings experience in estate planning and entertainment law to the practice.

Edgar has served in the leadership of many civic organizations, including Westchester Rotary Club, Westchester Farmer’s Market, Westchester Neighbors Association, Westchester Vitalization Corp.

He is also a member of the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce, and past member of the Venice Chamber of Commerce and the Marina del Rey Historical Society.

Edgar was 2013-14 president of the Westchester Rotary Club.
